Yo! I'm JC Wollslager, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a huge fan of all things tabletop. I dove headfirst into the board game industry after mass layoffs left me unemployed in 2023. After failing to design board games, I learned that I was way better at promoting them through photography and video. Wink wink, nudge nudge, I'm available for hire.
I also started a YouTube channel, it's called How to Teach, the worlds worst search-engine optimized YouTube channel about teaching people how to play board games. More about that down below. It's probably why you're here. Thanks for being here, by the way.

How to Teach is my take on the ever-present "board game tutorial" genre, where I don't show you how to play, I show you how to teach!
This show is designed to give the maximum amount of actionable information that'll help you get the games on your shelf onto the table and running as quick as possible. I go through how to pitch the game and get your friends and family excited to play, how to set up the game for first-time and new players, and then I give you the full rundown of how to teach the game like you mean it!
In my humble, absurdly biased opinion, How to Teach is one of the best things I've ever made, and it's always a blast when I get the chance to work on more episodes.
